5 Beauty Hacks

Hey Guys.
I am so sorry that I didn't post last week. I have been really busy and have exams coming up, but I am trying my hardest.
So todays post is going to be 5 Beauty Hacks. These hacks are amazing and have helped me so much.

1. Making A Lipstick Matte

If you have a lipstick that you love or just really want a matte lipstick, why spend money on one when you can make all your lipsticks matte. So you are going to put the lipstick of your choice on and get some translucent powder and put it on top of your lipstick with a sponge or brush. You want to put loads on and let it set for about a minute, then brush it off with a brush and you have a matte lipstick.

2. Making Waterline Eyeliner Last

Don't you just hate it when you put an eyeliner in your waterline and by the end of the day it has gone? Well I have a solution for you. Apply your eyeliner as normal and then get an eyeshadow the same colour, preferably matte, and apply that on top of the eyeliner.

3. Making Your Eyelashes Look Longer

So this hack is my absolute favourite. I have quite long eyelashes, but they aren't curly so I curl my lashes. I saw someone curl their eyelashes, but before they hairdryed them to get them hot. I tried this and my goodness. It makes such a difference and makes me look like I have false lashes on!

4. Getting The Perfect Cat Eye Flick

If you struggle with getting the perfect cat eye flick I have the trick for you. Get some tape and stick it where you want your flick to be. Then you can do your eyeliner as normal and draw against the tape. When you take the tape off your eyeliner looks amazing.

5. Making An Eyeshadow More Pigmented

If you have an eyeshadow that you love, but it doesn't show up, then I have the trick for you. If you wet your brush before you use the eyeshadow the pigmentation will be so good.

So I hope you enjoyed this post and these hacks will help you as much as they help me.
Please leave a comment of any questions or posts you would like me to do.

Big Hugs….

True Friends

Hey guys.
Hope you are doing well.
Todays post is going to be about True Friendships. If you followed my old blog you might have seen that I posted a similar post to this one, but this one will be a bit different because my confidence has been growing so I have had the change to meet more people.
Friends are one of the greatest things in life. They are there for you when you are down and they are there to share the amazing moments in life. If you know me you will know that I have had a pretty bad experience with friendships.
I am going to give you a brief story of what happened, but I don't want to say the name of the girl so I am going to give her a fake name. She is going to be called Beth.
So I moved from London to Oxfordshire in 2011 and I was joining this school and so was Beth. She was so nice and we become ver close very quickly. She was my best friend and I trusted her with everything. When year 7 came, Beth and I were both staying in the same school so I was even more excited. We made more friends which was so good. She had her little group and I had mine, but we were still close so I was so happy. We drifted apart a bit and didn't spend as much time together.
Every summer we had a massive argument and stupidly I always wanted to be friends with her, so I let her annoy and upset me. This went on for about 2 years and then it started to get 10 times worse. As I had always wanted to be friends with her after arguments, she must have thought that she can do it all the time and I would still love her, so she started to make rumours and lie to me all the time. After school virtually everyday I would burst into tears. In year 9 I stopped wanting to be friends with her, but she didn't stop!
Half way through year 9 something happened on instagram where someone commented on my pictures with horrible comments. This person was posting on Beth's instagram as well so we started chatting and getting close again. It got to the point that we had to get the police involved so I was spending a lot of time with her. This made me think that I could trust her, but NO!! She wouldn't leave me alone and she had recruited a little group of girls and they all helped to bully me. This made my confidence go down a lot. I never wanted to go to groups or do anything that I hadn't done before.
In the end we looked around schools but nothing seemed right and we started homeschooling. It has slowly built my confidence back up and I am going to a lot more groups. This whole experience has made me realise my true friends, because they were there for me helping me throughout the whole process.
Recently I have met a couple of girls my age that I have built a really good friendship with. We went to a youth group and I have met so many more people.
If any of you are going through anything similar, it will end and your true friends will be there for you!
I know this was quite a heavy post but I thought I would share this with you!

I hope you enjoyed this post

Homemade Powder Foundation!!

Hey guys
Hope you had a good week. I am so sorry that I didn't post yesterday! I have had a really busy week, but I promise to get back into the swing of thing.
Todays post is going to be a bit different. I am going to show you how I made this Homemade Powder Foundation!
I have been experimenting quite a lot with different methods of how to made your own makeup. I finally found one that I liked the look of and I tried it.
I'm not going to lie, but it didn't work! It is a loose foundation powder, so it does go everywhere, but when I put it on it just looked really blotchy! I tried putting it on with different brushes and in afferent ways, but it never seemed to work.
I am going to compact the powder to see if it makes a difference and hopefully it will. I will let you know as soon as I have done it.
I will link the website that I used incase you wanted to try it. The lady did say it works for her so it may work for you. If you do try it, please let me know in the comments how it turns out.

In the ingredients that I used, there is something called Bentonite Clay. It is really good for your skin, so I tried it. It is a powder, but if you mix it with some water it makes a face mask type thing. I put it on my spots and the next day they looked so much better! I would highly recommend that!

Please leave a comment of some posts you would like to see!

4 Quick and Easy Hairstyles

Hey Guys.
I hope you're good and I hope you have been sticking to your New Years Resolutions.
So today's post is going to be, 4 Quick and Easy Hairstyles. If you are like me then you will be needing a hairstyle that will take you less that 5 minutes, so these hairstyles will be perfect!

The first hairstyle is a High Ponytail. So the first thing you want to do is scrape your hair up to the top you your head. I tip my head upside down to get it to the top of my head. Then tie your hair with a hair tie.

You can either leave it like this, or you can pull a few bits of hair out and mess it up a bit. I like to pull at the top of my head from the beginning of the Pony Tail.

I also like to add an accessorie. I think a head band, flower crown or a ribbon looks good. I actually got this from America, but New Look do good head bands.

Then you are done!!!!

The second hairstyle is a Half Up Top Knot. The first thing you want to do it separate your hair into two.

The top half should be a bit smaller than the bottom half. Then you want to tie the top half of your hair into a little ponytail on the top of your head.

Then you are going to pull at the pony tail, loosing it a bit. If you want it to look neat and tight, then skip the last step.

The next thing is to take your ponytail and you want to twist it. Then you bring it around the beginning of the pony tail and tie the mini bun with another hair tie.

The shape of the bun might be a bit weird, but you can pin bits down to get it to the shape you like.

Then your done!!!!

Another hairstyle is the Half Up Half Down. This is super easy! So the first thing you will want to do is part your hair wherever you normally part it. Take a bit from your left side and pin it at the back of your head.

Then take a bit from the right side and pin it as well. That's it! So quick!!

Then your done!!!!

The last hairstyle is the Messy Bun. The first step is going to be just the same are the High Ponytail. So tip your head upside down and tie your hair in a ponytail at the top. Then you are going to want to twist your hair around the base of the ponytail and secure that with another hair tie.

Then you can shape your bun with some bobby pins and mess it up a bit.

Then your done!!!!

I hope you enjoyed this post!

A Weekend Away

Hey guys.
Hope you're good.

So on the 2nd January 2016 me and my family went away for a couple of nights to Bristol and I thought I would write about what I took and how to travel light. Some of you may hardly pack anything when you go away, but I always pack like I'm going away for weeks.
For the weekend we went on we did some caving, so I needed to pack something warm, but also something that can get messy.
I packed a pair of messy leggings and messy tracksuits so I was warm and a thermal top with a warm jumper. They gave us waterproof suits to put over the top and also took wellies. That's all I took for caving.
We went out for dinner a couple of times too, so I took, my Black Lace Up Wedge Boots, smart black leggings and a smart jumper. For the other night I took jeans and another jumper. I didn't take another pair of shoes, because its another thing to carry and they are comfy.
I did take swim wear and gym stuff for our spare time. I took my tankini, because a bikini wouldn't be right for a hotel. I also took my gym leggings and a gym top.
We did go around Bristol so I took more leggings, a casual jumper and my Nike Air Maxes.

For makeup I took my foundation, 2 concealers, bronzer, contour concealer, shimmer brick, blusher, eye palette, eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, lip crayon and my daily makeup brushes. So for makeup you could say I didn't really travel light.

I hope you liked this post

December Favourites

Hey Guys!
I have loved so many different things this December and I thought I would share with you my favourite things.

The first thing I have been loving is my Revlon 24hr ColourStay Foundation. This foundation is medium to full coverage but it doesn’t feel heavy or thick on the skin. blends really nicely and it is really easy to work with. I haven’t tried it for 24hrs, but when I wear it, it seems to last a long time. I would recommend it a lot.

The next thing that I have been loving this month is my Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick, in Pink Quartz. I got this for Christmas from my parents and I love it. Last year for my birthday I went to get my makeup done by Bobbi Brown and the lady used the Shimmer Brick on me. It gives a bronzed, blush and highlight effect and makes you look like you have healthy looking skin. It is a bit on the pricey side but I think it is worth it.

Another favourite of this month is the Seventeen Easy On The Eyes Palette in Birthday Suit. I also got this for Christmas but from my brother. It is a really nice nude palette. It has some matte eyeshadows and some shimmery, as well as coming with a primer and 3 cream eyeshadows. It comes with a dark berry shade to make it a bit more smoky.

This favourite has been a favourite of every month since I got it. Like I said before about going to Bobbi Brown for my birthday. Well when I had my makeup done by this lady, she used an incredible mascara. Its the Bobbi Brown Smoky Eye Mascara. The lady even said that it looked like I had fake eyelashes on, because it is so good. It gives so much volume and length and is just AMAZING!! I have quite long lashes, but they aren't curly, so when the lady used the mascara, it made them look curly.

http://www.bobbibrown.co.uk/product/2332/27021/Makeup/Eyes/Mascara/Smokey-Eye-Mascara#

The last favourite I have is shoes. I also got these for Christmas and I wear them everywhere I can. These are Black Lace Up Wedge Boots. They are high heels, but because they are wedges they are comfortable to wear. I like to wear them with black leggings or acid wash jeans. They are really well priced as well.
